What type of router do you have?

EDIT: For TP-Link TL-WR1043ND, rewrite the file with this:

Code: Select all

src/gz chaos_calmer_base http://archive.openwrt.org/chaos_calmer/15.05.1/ar71xx/generic/packages/base
src/gz chaos_calmer_management http://archive.openwrt.org/chaos_calmer/15.05.1/ar71xx/generic/packages/management
src/gz chaos_calmer_packages http://archive.openwrt.org/chaos_calmer/15.05.1/ar71xx/generic/packages/packages
src/gz chaos_calmer_routing http://archive.openwrt.org/chaos_calmer/15.05.1/ar71xx/generic/packages/routing
src/gz chaos_calmer_telephony http://archive.openwrt.org/chaos_calmer/15.05.1/ar71xx/generic/packages/telephony

src/gz gargoyle http://www.gargoyle-router.com/packages/gargoyle-1.10.0/ar71xx/default

dest root /
dest ram /tmp
dest plugin_root /plugin_root
lists_dir ext /var/opkg-lists
option overlay_root /overlay

1.9 version of gargoyle and i am doing exactly what you want
here is the screenshot of my setup
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nGDnVf ... sp=sharing
At SSID to Join you press SCAN and select the SSID of yout ISP modem/router and enter the password
Then you Gargoyle router will broadcast it own SSID, in my occasion its 2.4 Gz and 5.0 Gz

Make Restore Default Configuration before setup, as you mentioned that you experiencing problems right now

@erez669 will have a problem with the /etc/opkg.conf file, so the plug-in page is not updated. OpenWrt changed DNS name from http://downloads.openwrt.org to http://archive.openwrt.org - for Gargoyle 1.10.0

imbaSD, when I apply the settings as you said, I lost access to the router web interface, and it's not working, I try to factory reset and reconfigure, same result. what's wrong?

Make sure that the Gargoyle router Gateway IP is different from the ISP's router

e.g mine Gargoyle is 192.168.2.254 and ISP 192.168.1.1
