Has any progress been made to the WAN connection options on the latest Gargoyle Firmware?
If not is there any other way to get my connection working as my ISP uses this PPOE Dual as the connection type.

Hi I did see a forum post from the year 2012 on here in regards to PPOE Dual connection but that is 6 years ago. I know dd-wrt has this as a WAN connection option.
Has any progress been made to the WAN connection options on the latest Gargoyle Firmware?
If not is there any other way to get my connection working as my ISP uses this PPOE Dual as the connection type.

Not at this time via the interface.
If it is possible in OpenWrt, you can configure it manually.
If your ISP allows PPTP then you may be able to use the Gargoyle plugin to make it work.
