WRT1900ACS 5Ghz

Gents is there any timescale for the next DD /LEDE based Gargoyle? I kept having disconnects on my phone (in the middle of calls) and vpn on my laptop today and realised it was because both had connected to the 5Ghz channel - the latest LEDE snapshots don't seem to have this problem with 5Ghz. If its going to be a while is there a possibility of updating to whatever wifi driver LEDE is using? I would much rather stick with Gargoyle than swap to LEDE.
