Can not find 2,4 and 5 Ghz settings

Post by kevkra »

Where can I find in the wireless settings an option to set up 2,4 or 5 ghz frequency? I just see some 20 Mhz and 40 Mhz settings.

Why don't you show a picture of what you're looking at.
Because, it sounds like you're in the right spot. The label literally says:
2.4GHz Channel Width
or
5GHz Channel Width:

and if it doesn't, it usually means you only have a single wireless interface.

also, what router and version of gargoyle?

That router isn't 5ghz capable so the interface won't display those options.

Notice the mode is "N+G+B". Those are all 2.4ghz protocols.

That is really bad. 5 Ghz is better for watching videos.

Hi mate 2.4 GHZ can be just as good for video streams. If i was you I would flash 1.9.1 because 1.8.1 can be buggy. If you do flash 1.9.1 don't save settings.
