Re: Version 1.10.0 : New stable version with critical security fixes

I have upgraded a TP Link MR3020 and it seems to work fine.

It is not mentioned in the release notes, but I am wondering if the problems with GUEST networks have been resolved in this release?

Re: Versions 1.9.0 & 1.8.1

I have a new TPLink WR841N ver 9.3 This is the first of this model that I have owned. Gargoyle Version:1.8.1 Model:TP-Link TL-WR841N/ND v9 It does not seem very stable. Re: WDR3600 wifi range

Interesting. I have a 3600 with wifi performance issues also. I was attributing it to new firmware, but that is just a guess.

Unfortunately the forum is not very interactive so you may not find easy help in resolving. But please post if you find something!

Re: Version 1.6.2

I have recently installed 1.6.2 on a new TP Link 3600. I am having quite variable wireless performance. Establishing a connection seems difficult for both a Win 7 host and an iPad, and once established they connection performance is VERY slow. Very odd. I have not previously had problems with Gargoy...

Re: Blocking Games

Routers are cheap. Dedicate a $20 router with it's own wifi WPA2 key for the kids use. I tried lots of options in my exploration. In the end the best solution was just limiting internet access to certain hours. On school nights internet turns automatically off at 10pm. Weekends is a little later.

Re: More OpenVPN gui bugs in 1.6.1

The Block NonOpenVPN traffic option does not work as I expect. BlockNon.PNG I have router A facing the internet. My OpenVPN client is running on Router B which is plugged into router A. With the VPN running, I am still able to connect to the gargoyle web page of router A, which I would not expect t...

I have installed this version on TP-Link TL-WR740N/ND v1. Seems to work great so far.

Re: Forwarded Ports Disappear

I had a similar problem (earlier version) with Firewall >> Restrictions. The restrictions slowly melted away after a couple of restarts. Very odd.

I have not seen it again.
