L7 filter can't catch YouTube traffic, if It's going over HTTPS protocol, so probably this is the reason, if you installed it correctly. It seems like you will have to use IPs to catch it.

In the configuration: "Internet / WAN - Connect Via: DHCP Wired" there is an option: "Wan Ethernet Port: Bridge to LAN". What exactly does this one do and why isn't it also available for "Connect Via: DHCP Wired"? This option bridges WAN port (blue internet port) to LA...

This problem is known to happen if you have two or more browser windows viewing the QoS page simultaneously and a setting change is made. All versions have this issue. As I can see you can only choose english language at initial settings page (I could be wrong), but there is also a button, which allows you to upload different language file.

Anyway you can install languages later by going to the plugins section in Gargoyle web interface.

Youtube-2012 L7 filter is still very good at catching Youtube traffic.

Do not install newest versions of Gargoyle on WRT54GL. It's recommended to install 1.4.7 version, althrough some people reported success with 1.5.6..

You could try running "mtd -r erase rootfs_data" command to remove settings, but this still doesn't explain how they survived flash of stock firmware .
