Re: Gargoyle 1.15.x BETA - 2024-03-11 - Based on OpenWrt 23.05

I would like to install some plugins that I also used on wrt1900acs v2 but I don't know what the command is for GL-MT6000, for wrt1900acs v2 I use this: https://lantisproject.com/gargoyle_custom/ipv6/mvebu/default https://lantisproject.com/gargoyle_custom/ipv6/mvebu/default_kernelspecific https://l...

Hello all, @pythonic thanks for the guidance, it seems to work! :D There is no one to deal with integrating all this in default for gargoyle and of course to optimize? with Disable Bandwidth Monitor! https://ibb.co/hCgwzm2 https://ibb.co/Dp9gDbK https://ibb.co/QmXR3yJ https://ibb.co/DCZmL1C with Ba...

Re: TP-LINK WR1043ND v1.8 failed update to 1.14

If you are able to get it into a fail safe mode and ssh in, then you should be able to use SCP to move a sysupgrade file into /tmp and run the sysupgrade from there.

For tftp, your ip should be 192.168.0.66, not .1.66
Try that and hopefully more success :)

Re: TP-LINK WR1043ND v1.8 failed update to 1.14

Load an earlier version, or try a 1.15 beta build https://lantisproject.com/gargoyle_cust ... lds/ath79/

In reality, your device is now at the edge of no longer having enough storage to get newer versions.

Gargoyle 1.15.x BETA - 2024-03-11 - Based on OpenWrt 23.05

Gargoyle 1.15.x is based on OpenWrt 23.05, which is a significant leap forward from 22.03 for 1.14.x. This is the first "stable beta" (if there is such a thing) which includes all images generated, and a few new targets/profiles. Configs should generally not be preserved between 1.14 (and ...

Re: What wifi router to buy?

From an OpenWrt 23.05 point of view there are many options. One that is particularly interesting is the GLiNet Flint 2 (aka MT6000). Wifi 6, loads of flash storage and processing power, 2.5gbps WAN and LAN, and a built in recovery method making it very difficult to brick. It is gaining a lot of popu...
