1) Reset to defaults
2) Re-flash 1.6.1
3) Try a different browser (make sure the cache is cleared)

Try the above

You should be able to flash back and forth from Gargoyle to DD-WRT

Make sure you are able to serial recover if it's that critical to you

There's always a chance for a bad flash and you might have to
serial recover a router.

Could be a corrupted config

Try the steps listed here:

You will probably have to re-configure fresh

If you can get back in - don't load an old config - reconfigure fresh!

Backup your current config

Reset to defaults and see if you can get the time/date to sync properly

If you can, then reload your old config

If the time/date goes wacky again - you have a corrupted config
and you have to again - reset to defaults, then reconfigure fresh

If you have a WRT54G model, try the 1.4.7 firmware first

See how that works first.

Has to be supported by OpenWRT first before it could get
support for Gargoyle.

Looks like you might have some luck with DD-WRT soon

Should be fine to flash Gargoyle 1.6.0 or 1.6.1

DO NOT FLASH ANYTHING BELOW 1.5.7 on your WR941 V3.8

You need Attitude Adjustment branch for your V3.8
