Re: Guest ssid

Everything is working well, except that now I cannot view any bandwidth usage statistics by host name or ip like I was able to do before..anyone know what I can do? That's peculiar, because I'd been using th...

Re: reliability of scheduled reboot feature
I've used various versions of Gargoyle and always set for a daily reboot, it reboots reliably every night.

So far, so good. Just unbricked my 1043nd into this release.
There's a problem managing the router with IE10 in Enhanced Protected Mode, though. The pop-ups don't contain data, for example if you edit a usb share. Works fine with EPM off...

Upgrading my 1043nd 1.7 from 1.5.7 and checking the "keep settings" yielded a brick. No sys light. Working on unbricking now...
EDIT: Guess not. My old craptop with a serial port is dead. 1043 is down for now.

Re: Unable to opkg update or install packages - Interim fix
I made the recommended changes a few days ago when I first upgraded my router to 1.5.7, but ran into a glitch today. I don't recall what I'd installed that day. When I tried to install the kmod-usb2 package, I get an error that I need kernel version 3.3.8-1-67c7..., but when I run 'uname -r' it tel...

Unable to opkg update or install packages - Interim fix
After the RAID failure over at openwrt.org, package installs fail. In order to install packages, you can comment out the original src/gz that points to trunk and add the line below after replacing "YOUR ARCHITECTURE" with the appropriate info: src/gz attitude_adjustment http://downloads.op...

Working fine on a 1043nd 1.7, save for the small glitches reported earlier in the thread, which you should've read prior to posting.Dik0j wrote:

Re: Version 1.5.7 -- OpenWRT "Attitude Adjustment"
Seconding the above post on a 1043ND. For me, no rule gets added after saving the URL blocking rule (In both Firefox and IE10). Also: "Connected hosts" under "Hosts With Active Connections" shows a rather impressive list. Most of those only having one UDP connection. All those ho...

Re: Version 1.5.7 -- OpenWRT "Attitude Adjustment"
But keep in mind the qos configuration page WILL disappear again if you try to configure it.. It is hit and miss affair.. typically it will blank out if you use multiple window to configure the qos. Creating classes and rules are OK, just not editing in IE10. Firefox 14.01 works just fine for me. D...
