Re: Gargoyle NAT 'leaking' port 443?

Well, dropped everything from that list, still seeing the odd 443 traffic.
Would having a WiFi guest network change anything? It doesn't have anything attached, will try turning that off next.

Re: Gargoyle NAT 'leaking' port 443?

Yeah, figured that so taking one service at a time. So far, removing QoS didn't make the problem go away.

Re: Gargoyle NAT 'leaking' port 443?

Well, here's a summary of what I've been using. I have PortForwarding of ssh inbound to an internal server, nothing else. DMZ is disabled. QOS is enabled, I can give specifics but I got the info from a page here (Both up and down, Fast with 512 byte pkt len, then a Normal, then a Throttled with band...

Gargoyle NAT 'leaking' port 443?

Hello Hoping I can describe this without pictures, we will see... So, my provider's equipment has a firewall built in that I've disabled -except- that all outbound traffic must come from the IP of the Gargoyle router (to prevent people from removing the Gargoyle router and plugging something else in...

Re: Big problem with quota

Is the data saved on a clean reboot (using the Reboot option in the System area)? Not sure if I've noticed losing quota data there (maybe in 1.8.0, but I've not checked in 1.9.0 since its been up for 59 days straight).

Re: Additional wireless encryption options?

In /etc/config/wireless I used

Re: Additional wireless encryption options?

I was able to manually update the configuration to that setting on 1.9.0 and it works great. Just seeing if adding the options to the web configure tool would be possible.

Additional wireless encryption options?

I've looked and not found this in other threads... So far it seems I can only connect some of my equipment using tkip, and the only encryption setting I've found that everything I'm connecting is happy with is the psk-mixed+tkip+aes combo... Any chance of having additional options in the wireless co...

Re: logging suspicious behavior /ddos, failed login attempts

I think the idea is having a way to include
option log '1'

as part of /etc/config/firewall in the zone for the wan, so that any dropped/rejected attempt is logged as part of /var/log/messages

Re: High traffic with WNDR3800 causes reboot?

And just in case anyone was wondering... I went to 1.9.0 instead, and quotas are working just fine. Uptime over a week at this point and zero problems.
