OK, I thought you were having problem with 1.6.2 as wellI will try this but I have to question the logic because the very same hardware configured the same way using Gargoyle v1.6.2

Its rock soild for me, its something about your set that is causing the problems.
I would suggest doing a failsafe reset then enabling only the basics.
How stable is your internet connection?
I seen reports where the client had unstable internet and this caused problems?

the other option is build you own image but i suspect that would use over 300 meg or ask nicely and somebody might help you.
