after upgrading to ispy may-25 my particular issue seems to be gone.

I installed it on this router Netgear WNDRMACv2 using
1.6.x , 1.7.x and 1.9.x of the gargoyle firmware.

WNDRMACv2 has identical hardware internals to WNDR3800, 16MB flash and 128MB ram.

Have installed this beta just a few moments ago, from 1.6.x webgui without keeping settings, and have not experienced any issues. Netgear wndrmacV2 Many thanks to you for doing the builds, and ofcourse to the developer(s), for providing this great free and easy2use openwrt based router firmware. -mgoo

If I remember correctly, it's not compatible with normal BitTorrent software, keeping Linux users from being able to download. A conventional torrent would be fully cross platform though.
