I wish you had tried before the rebootI then rebooted the router and it worked. Modem's ip changed without a reboot but I guess it's not about the modem
I not sure what to say about that on the wiki

how did you run the script?My modem IP is 192.168.10.1 which as stated needs to be on a different subnet to my router. In the modemaccess.sh you set that to an ip (for the router_ip) in the same subnet, for me I set it as pbix said to 192.168.10.2
auto run?
reboot?
or manually run the script?

But it is in bridge mode, do those same rules apply.........................Again, the WAN ports IP address may not be on the same subnet as your private network.

Just for you interest Notes Once in 'Modem only' mode the DG834 will act as a simply modem, its IP address will have no relevance except for connecting to the router to change settings or reconfigure. Remember this IP address, as DHCP will no longer function and you will need it if you wish to conne...

Same base but different GUI.Whats the difference?
Most command line packages work with gargoyle but packages with a GUI components usually have problems
