Re: Solved: Archer C7 Wifi button
Hey guys, quick question, is this patch for the Wi-Fi switch going to be added to future releases for the Archer C7? Just realised this feature isn't working on 1.9.0

Re: Version 1.9.1
Came from 1.9.0. Yeah, I realise this now. I thought the export/import function would work via XML and stip and incompatible entries, but after looking into the backup itself, it just seems to be a dump of the filesystem... ah well. Good excuse to go back document my network config properly I suppose.

Re: Version 1.9.1
Just wanted to share my experience with my 1043ND v2.1. I made a backup and updated without preserving settings and that works OK, but the moment I restored my backup, the router would enter a reboot loop. Had to use a failsafe reset to get it going again. It looks like I have to migrate my settings...

Re: Constant Wi-Fi Dropouts TL-WR1043ND v2.1
I just want to update this thread. The Wi-Fi issue hasn't gone away completely - it still causes issues from time to time, but only for certain devices. I really can't explain it. Is there a chance that one of the 1.9.X builds could solve this issue? I'm pretty confident it's an issue with the firmw...

Re: Unable to hard reset TP-Link TL-WDR4300
Good news! I managed to reset the TL-WDR4300 without too much trouble. Got into failsafe mode, and logged in via Telnet. All cleared OK. The TL-WR1043ND on the other hand, has no such luck. That one was done by a bad flash. There's no way to access the bootloader (it's a 1.6 version) from the OpenWR...

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2016-May-12 09:22.torrent
I tried these builds a few months back and ran into a few issues (one 1043ND bricked - now given to a friend who will try his hand at flashing via serial) but a quick read says that people are finding these newer builds OK. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the TP-Link TL-WR842ND v2....

Re: Constant Wi-Fi Dropouts TL-WR1043ND v2.1
Like I said I had "Allow NameCoin/OpenNIC Resolution" disabled. Enabling it again (default behaviour) allowed it to work again. Haven't had a hiccup with Wi-Fi since. Interestingly, this had the opposite effect on some earlier firmwares of Gargoyle. I didn't think twice when disabling it. ...

Re: Constant Wi-Fi Dropouts TL-WR1043ND v2.1
"Allow NameCoin/OpenNIC Resolution" keep us updated Okay, after more testing, this appears to be the culprit and the issue is now solved. I have it enabled now and my Wi-Fi has been solid (after a reboot of course). I have on router running 1.8.1 and the other running 1.9.0 and they can b...

Re: Unable to hard reset TP-Link TL-WDR4300
I have a 1043ND v1 with the same problem. Thanks, I'll look into how to do a reset and probably do both at the same time.

Re: Constant Wi-Fi Dropouts TL-WR1043ND v2.1
Alright, did a little more testing. Rather than move and re-configure my current main router, I just grabbed a bunch of Wi-Fi devices and took it over to the other side of the house and gave the Wi-Fi on my second 1043ND a good workout. Lord behold, Wi-Fi is crapping out on me here as well. Things w...
