Re: Wifi Died 1.5.2 wrt54gl
I'm not that picky really. The wireless monitor script seems to be working. After about 24 hours it happened again. 2012/01/09 08:28:15.59 M dnsmasq-dhcp[10108]: dhcpinform(br-lan) 192.168.1.140 00:21:63:d2:62:29 2012/01/09 08:28:15.59 M dnsmasq-dhcp[10108]: dhcpack(br-lan) 192.168.1.140 00:21:63:d2...

Re: name already exists in /etc/hosts but does not
Nothing sits on 192.168.1.200. Even if that were the case which it isn't that would mean the message would be in error. I havent changed anything and it looks like the messages have disappeared.

Re: Wifi Died 1.5.2 wrt54gl
So far it's been over 20 hours and the wifi hasn't dropped. First time was after 15 hours and I'm not too picky since I got a script to automatically restart the wifi incase it locks up.

Re: log_ip
I'm asking cause of intermitted wireless lockups, but I'm not sure if B43 is compiled with B43_DEBUG. Also in the syslog it doesn't show the ip of the router which can be difficult to distinguish between routers and repeaters.

Re: Wifi Died 1.5.2 wrt54gl
Yeah, I noticed 1.5.2 doesn't use as much memory as earlier versions. b43legacy is only for 802.11b devices, I'm surprised it's even there. https://dev.openwrt.org/ticket/7552 seems to be the openwrt ticket regarding the b43 dropouts. It would be nice if B43_DEBUG was compiled. Gargoyle uses 410.216...

Re: Wifi Dies/Dropsout 1.5.2 wrt54gl
Thank you for the info. I know there was postings about the wireless driver suspected of crashing due to associated and authenticating of wireless clients over in the OpenWRT forums. In the mean time I've written a little script to monitor the wireless and automatically restore it if it should dropo...

Re: Wifi Died 1.5.2 wrt54gl
This seems to be a common occurence in openwrt for some time. I've enabled remote logging hoping to see something. On startup I have noticed the following readout 2012/01/07 18:10:24.53 M loading firmware version 410.2160 (2007-05-26 15:32:10) 2012/01/07 18:10:24.63 M invalid max-tx-power value in s...

Wifi Died 1.5.2 wrt54gl
1.5.2 w/ a wrt54gl. After about 15 hours the wifi just died, wired worked fine. The SSID was being broadcasted intermittently, but could not connect. ifconfig showed wlan0, but bringing it up and down did nothing. Rebooting the router didn't fix it either even though the LED for the wireless remaine...
