Re: Forwarding other protocols than TCP/UDP
I'm trying to connect a machine to an external PPTP server. Just through Windows, you can add VPN with that and select PPTP protocol. I'm aware that it's not super secure anymore but that's what's given to me and as such out of my control. If I use DMZ to this machine then it's working, but without ...

Forwarding other protocols than TCP/UDP
How can I get PPTP VPN connection working for computers connected to Gargoyle router? Unless I use DMZ to my IP (which I don't want as I don't want people to access all ports) it won't let me connect. I suspect this is because PPTP uses GRE instead of TCP/UDP, but I'm not sure how to forward that (p...

I have the same issue with the Wi-Fi channels, as I've previously reported. If you start it at least once on a working channel, you can then modify it to a different channel and then it's working OK for me on the other channels as well. I've only tested the router very briefly on OpenWRT - I find it...

Re: Gargoyle 1.11.0 Release Candidate 5
I like the ability to keep settings, but not everything is restored at the moment, perhaps that would be something to fix as it would bring it close to perfection. It is only in some minor areas. What I've noticed isn't restored: - plugin source list. - plugins itself. - web usage monitor keeps gett...

The Wi-Fi issue is resolved after a reboot. No idea what happened

Re: Gargoyle 1.11.0 Release Candidate 5
Did anything important change regarding Wi-Fi in RC5? When I frequently reconnect devices through Wi-Fi, they will not always connect anymore (Windows is either unable to connect or it shows as connected without IP address as an orange warning sign). I've not had this in RC4.

Re: Gargoyle 1.11.0 Release Candidate 5
Can settings be kept when upgrading from RC4 to RC5? Or at least restored?

Re: Gargoyle 1.11.0 Release Candidate 4
Just wanted to let you guys know that RC4 has otherwise been very stable for me. It's been running 24/7 since early RC4 version without any weird issues. The bandwidth control is really amazing, wish I discovered Gargoyle a long time ago, it's so great to be able to play a game while the rest of the...
