Re: Question: Combining three quotas
Sounds like a job for QoS instead. 1) Give your phone a static IP on the "Connection/DHCP" page. 2) On the "Firewall/QoS (Download)" page create another class called "Voip Phone". Don't bother with limiting the bandwidth yet. 3) Add a new rule: Source IP - the one you g...

Re: How to allow unlimited Spotify streaming, but throttle everything else?
Assuming the info I found is correct, Spotify seems to use ports 4370-4379 for HTTPS and 4380-4389 for HTTP. I suspect if they are listening to it via browser this might not work though. With that in mind you can add a class named Spotify in your Firewall/QoS (Download) page. You can give it as much...

Re: Default QoS Rules Contest
I think prioritizing by both packet length and port 80/443 would be a good idea. Classes and rules: High: Packet length <512, Port 80/433 + Connection bytes <512 Medium: Port 80/443 + Connection bytes >512 Slow: Anything else Reasoning: High is a good catch-all ruleset for most basic activities. Fil...

Re: Couple requests
Thanks for the response. My router handles the QoS rules just fine on their own though, even at sustained full speed downloads with many connections etc. It's only when ACC is turned on where it'll quickly grind to a halt under pressure. Both the loading of the settings page becomes extremely slow a...

Couple requests
QoS Upload/download page: When adding new rules, allow multiple ports to be specified. This is technically possible already, but only if the ports are sequental, for example ports 1400-1500. However specifying 80,443,8080 does not work. Having to add each of those manually clutters the list of rule...

Downsides to using certain QoS rules?
Did anyone research how the existence of certain QoS rules may affect performance? If so, how much do they affect and in what ways? For example simple port matching vs connection bytes reach vs packet length. Which one uses more CPU, more RAM or both? I understand that L7 pattern matching is expensi...

Unable to select some IPs on the Bandwidth Graph
As far as I can tell, there appears to be some kind of bug with the Bandwidth graph on the Bandwidth usage page. Important that this only happens when "Save High Resolution 15 Minute Timeframe Data For All Hosts" is enabled and Bandwidth Graph Time Frame is set to 15 minutes. https://i.img...

Re: Adblock Plugin
Thanks for the great plugin Lantis! I have a feature request however. Any chance a newer version would allow us to edit the sources from which the plugin gets its blocklist? So for example, one could subscribe to a localized hosts file which contains additional ad servers based on language/geographi...
