Re: I'm interested in learning how to compile builds

Thanks for the replies.

If in theory I wanted to include code from another firmware, say the SQM component of CeroWRT, would I have to download both images?

TCP - UDP Timeouts and better ping

I was wondering if anyone could clear this up for me. If I'm going for the best ping my connection can offer, what's a good and safe reccommended value for both TCP and UDP timeouts? Right now, I'm using 3600 in TCP and 120 in UDP. Using the Netalyzr Tool ( http://n2.netalyzr.icsi.berkeley.edu/analy...

I'm interested in learning how to compile builds

I've been a member of this amazing community for about 3 months and I have re-learned a lot about routing, QoS and networking in general. I want to be more helpful to the members, so I'd love to refresh my Linux-Fu and learn how to compile custom Gargoyle builds, specially if it means I can integrat...

Just upgraded using web interface, settings perfectly preserved, no issues so far.

UI kinda feels more responsive, menus load a lot faster so that's an awesome plus.

Will continue testing and reporting.

Thanks for the build, Ispy.

Re: Need Help with PS4 Rules

I had a similar setup to yours originally with QoS Port Rules etc but found it to be a pain to manage. My main issue is my girlfriend loves to stream video (all the time) and it affected the ping heavily for Realtime Games. I ended up simplifying it to just 2 Classes: Normal (99%) and Gaming (1% Mi...

I'm guessing you're missing the GCC compiler. Don't have the download link off the top of my head but I'm sure someone here can assist me.

Re: Transmission installed and running on 1.7.1

I dunno how relevant this is, but newer USB sticks show up as "fixed" drives instead of removable (Kingston flash drives come to mind). Since I use a lot of bootable sticks, it was an issue for me that these drives wouldn't lend themselves to be formatted as "removable drives", u...

Re: Transmission installed and running on 1.7.1

I have a question. I believe transmission has option to specify blocklists. If I was running transmission on the router, I'm assuming if I am able to specify blocklist, it will use it. Is this correct? And if so, where do I specify the blocklist urls? I think you can add blocklists directly in the ...
