So i upgraded from wr1043nd to wdr3600. But now the wifi range is not that great as it was with wr1043nd. Like 30-40 % worse. Will antenna upgrade with 8dbi omni directional dual band, makes things better ? Or did i something wrong in gargoyle firmware? (which i doubt) Router otherwise is great but ...

You should use the new recheck instead of the old one. I have had the same problem like you.

Just do the firmware process all over again, and then apply the new recheck instead of old one.

QoS download rules ignoring completely. Upload QoS works fine. So now every download traffic is normal priority which i don't want. Any suggestions ? I am waiting for barrier breaker build. Also i will replace my router with WDR3600 for dual band and more room for power and storage.
