Re: new search web query

Also I'd like to know how this works, is there a list of sites it recognizes as search engines, or some other method?
rather than just limit it to list of site...

I thought just displaying the IP address of where the Search query is from, then do a reverse whois lookup just like web monitor does.

Re: 4MB vs 8MB Flash - Benefits?

RAM Random Access Memory - storing temporary data FLASH MEMORY - storing firmware and configuration Rule of thumb, bigger flash and ram is always better . more flash memory mean you can store more stuff and if you have 8mb flash you will have an option to upgrade to megabuild incase you wanted to sw...

Re: two wireless routers, one with low bandwidth

INTERNET/PHONE -> MODEM/ROUTER --> ROUTER 2 (gargolye) 1) does above look like your current setup? 2) if you want your user to access internet in router 2 it worth to add DHCP and you don't really have to run gargolye in router 2 . you could try other alternative that have captive portal feature (so...

Re: Version 1.1.2

I'm very interested in feedback on the new bandwidth monitor interface... Instead of monitoring bandwidth of static IPs only, monitor all IPs (automatically detected), but at lower resolution Hi Eric, Just loaded 1.1.2 and I'm afraid my feedback on this is negative. I don't like the way the usage g...

reboot time

Hi

I have a question , it is normal if the reboot time around 7-10minutes for wl-500gp v2 with gargoyle installed ? . every-time when I reboot the router I need to wait long time before it came back online.

cheers,
Flora
