Re: 2 Routers on the same network with IP conflicts

Nothing, you apparently have two dhcp servers within the same subnet, and one router is probably plugged into the lan port of the other, instead of the two being separated at the wan port. This is a stupid situation to be in. The best you could do is change the subnet of one router so the two don't ...

Re: TL-WR941ND - No internet access

Ok, so subnet is now changed on the WRT, and internet is back. However, still no wifi...? I'm using 1.4.7 on my WRT54GL. Wifi is working fine. I use WPA Personal for the encryption type. What does no wifi mean? It's not broadcasting or you cannot connect to the AP you create? Also, there are plenty...

Re: TL-WR941ND - No internet access

Tell me the make and model of the DSL modem. In the meantime, you should be able to do double nat and at least surf the internet. You need to make sure that the lan subnet of your Gargoyle router is different than the wan subnet. So if your wan ip is 192.168.1.x (which is was in previous posts/scree...

Re: Revision 2bf3cf25 5 May 2012 12.04.7z

It's 5 lines of code it changes and has no bearing on anything else but the function order (ie., the tx function occuring before the rx function, thus the error stop rx before tx)... I guess Atheros users will hope for a backport.

Re: Revision 2bf3cf25 5 May 2012 12.04.7z

If you guys are compiling custom images, or if Eric even wants to include this patch special in the next Gargoyle release (it might stay in trunk and not get backported for all I know), supposedly this fixes the failed to stop dma problem so many people have reported with Atheros routers on this for...

Re: Support for Tp Link MR 3220

Yeah, what DoesItMatter said, this router is supported in trunk only for now. So don't try to load the wrong Gargoyle image on it.

Re: DHCP request can't forward in Repeater mode... WHY?

Not sure, though I imagine it might have something to do with the fact that your Microtik AP is just that, an AP only, instead of a router with a dhcp server and wireless AP built into it. I doubt your Microtik ap is running Gargoyle since AP only mode isn't supported with Gargoyle. Is the Microtik ...

Re: Can I use Gargoyle as my DNS server with an /etc/hosts f

If you were actually using Gargoyle, I think you would have answered the questions you are asking yourself.

1) Gargoyle does this by default
2) Use WinSCP
3) Reboot the router

Post a screen shot of the rule you made and an example of some websites that it doesn't work for that you think it should.

Re: Wireless Disabled on Linksys WRT160N v1

If anyone still cares, this should be fixed in OpenWRT trunk: https://dev.openwrt.org/changeset/31695/trunk I believe one could load the brand new wrt610n v1 firmware image from the nightly trunk build and have a working OpenWRT installation and working b43 wifi. https://dev.openwrt.org/changeset/31...
