Second that. Just upgraded my C7 V2 all running well. I preserved settings from a June release and it worked fine, no problems either.

Let me know if you continue to have issues with the restriction time not syncing. Also include your Timezone please. It should already be fixed in this version which worries me. I'm on the 25-Apr build now and did a quick test which seemed to work. It started at the right time. I'll see what happen...

Re: 1.11.0.x gargoyle-ispy 2019-April-13 21

One issue I seem to have is that restriction times seem to be an hour early. I have a restriction on 2 mac addresses that blocks all network access from 00:00-02:00. What seems to be happening is that blocking is actually occurring from 23:00-01:00. I'm going to do some testing but I'm also going t...

Re: Turning off DNS Caching

So this is getting very strange now and given my personality, I ain't giving up! So here's the curious thing, if I login to the router and do nslookup twitch.tv I can see it return 195.46.39.1, which is a block page from safedns. If I go to my PC and I do nslookup twitch.tv from cmd, then I get > ns...

Re: Turning off DNS Caching

This is really weird, it should work: https://oldwiki.archive.openwrt.org/doc/uci/dhcp This option is included in OpenWrt LuCI: https://i.imgur.com/C2YRt5W.png https://i.imgur.com/KmZ2eah.png Nothing, everyone can be wrong, so sorry  . Not to worry, no harm done. What was curious was that wit...

Re: Turning off DNS Caching

Ok, got into failsafe mode ok. Changed the two lines back to the way they were, powered off the router, powered it back on and works fine now. The changes I made were in the /etc/config/dhcp file in the dnsmasq section. It's an Archer C7 V2 if that helps but it was those 2 lines that caused the prob...

It won’t be a brick.
Ok, so can you provide a link about how to boot into failsafe mode?

Re: Turning off DNS Caching

Complete caching stop: Paste the following lines on the router in /etc/config/dhcp : option nonegcache '1' option cachesize '0' So a big problem with this. Router reboots all the lights are flickering but do you think I can connect to the internet? No way. Can't access the Internet and can't even a...

Yeah, that's part as well. A reboot will clear the cache but it still does not work because of the cache in the router.
