Re: checkmyip.com causing ddns plugin to update wrong IP

I had this problem after the latest build was installed (with settings preserved). Even when I thought I'd fixed it it came back. I fixed it by disabling the TOR client (enabled per client) rebooting and then reenabling TOR by client. Somehow this seemed to be sending out requests randomly over TOR ...

Re: DFS fails/incorrect channel listing on WRT32X

Lantis - this morning I thought I would try the 5Ghz again - I put in "option country 'FR'" and the wifi came up straight away. Now I can put any country code in the config (its currently on 'RU' to test and it works . This is really frustrating as I have changed nothing - I am beginning t...

Re: DFS fails/incorrect channel listing on WRT32X

Sorry took a while as getting back from dd-wrt to gargoyle isn't easy on a WRT32X ;-) Logfile below (mac address modified) - really appreciate your help with this - whilst DD-WRT works I'd much rather stay with Gargoyle if I can. driver name: mwlwifi chip type: 88W8964 hw version: 7 driver version: ...

Re: DFS fails/incorrect channel listing on WRT32X

Sorry yes it says "EU". Ive tried EU, GB, 00 and DE but none work - same result in openwrt. But Radio 2 in openwrt works and also on the higher channels so is definitely something to do with openwrt and radio 0.

Re: DFS fails/incorrect channel listing on WRT32X

Ok - the UK allows higher channels than France . If I run firstboot the Country is set by default to "00" in the wireless config. This config fails on ANY DFS channel. If I set the country to "FR" and restart wifi, DFS still fails to start. If I remove the country line I only get...

DFS fails/incorrect channel listing on WRT32X

I have an EU WRT32X - the DFS channels dont work (in either Openwrt or Gargoyle) but work fine in DD-WRT. In addition, the channel listing appears incorrect (higher channels are disabled). Error in the syslog is DFS start_dfs_cac() failed, -1 Output of various files is as follows (MAC / IP addresses...

Re: Guest networks connects, but the normal one won't

Well spotted ! yes this fixed it . Lantis - it now works and I can delete and recreate the guest network ok. Please note the list of channels is still incorrect for the UK as channels above 149 aren't listed . Please also note DFS channels seem to be broken on Openwrt/Gargoyle for the WRT32X - they ...

Re: Guest networks connects, but the normal one won't

Lantis
this did the same for me - I get all the connection options. If I undo and resave the JS it comes back as normal so there's something in these lines it doesn't like.

Re: Guest networks connects, but the normal one won't

It ends 08 = think it’d dropping the leading zero. If it’s doing this in all positions this might be why others are having issues.

Re: Guest networks connects, but the normal one won't

Yes - just ran firstboot and then set everything up from scratch. When you delete and recreate the guest network it puts an option macaddr line in the wireless config file that is missing the last digit of the macaddr. If I delete that line and restart the wifi it works fine. The line doesn't appear...
