Re: gargoyle-ispy 2016-January-25 18:46.torrent
If the automated build are done from commits checked by @Eric or another good developer, then some level of checking has been done and the number of 'bricking' images should be few.. ;) I think that is a good compromise. I'm looking forward to the first automated builds... Would each build also incl...

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2016-January-25 18:46.torrent
I am working on another way to distribute beta versions but I am not quite there yet. The approach involves using travis-ci.org to automatically build the Gargoyle images whenever a change is made and then automatically deploy the images back to github where they can be downloads as individual imag...

On my NetGear WNDR3700 DFS is also working now...

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2016-January-18 06:54.torrent
Perfect, thanks! I forgot to incorporate the DFS module into the build. Basically at the moment it is doing all the right things, then when it tries to scan the channel the module doesn't exist and it fails. I'll look at fixing this soon. Lantis, Do you have an estimate when DFS is working? I just ...

Re: Allow Channels 12,13,14 based on country (*MOD*)
However they are still needed for non US users.ispyisail wrote:Based on other posts Eric dose not like these hacks?
Manufacturers often don't specify the right country code in their firmware, leaving non US users with no other option to correctly use the frequencies allowed in their country.

Re: Tried Gargoyle again on WNDR3700v1 still no 5GHz?
I tried every single channel with both upper & lower, tried 20MHz, nothing makes it work. Why is the driver limited to lower weaker TX channels (assuming I could get it to even turn on)? In Canada we are allowed beyond channel 149 etc, there isn't a regulatory domain setting in the firmware may...

Re: Tried Gargoyle again on WNDR3700v1 still no 5GHz?
I have a WNDR3700v1 and 5 Ghz works fine. What channel are you using? Due to the regulatory restrictions, only channel 36-46 are usable. If you select any other channel, it behaves like you said. The blue 5Ghz led flashes shortly, then goes off, since the driver disables itself, due to an invalid ch...

Re: Allow 12,13,14 channels basing on country
I think you can just do that command - The iw reg set via command line HOWEVER Any changes you make via the GUI to the wireless interface has a chance to erase any changes you made via command line. So get all your stuff setup via the GUI first, save changes, then edit via command line for final ch...
