If you are using 1.5.11 with a non-English language, not all the text will be translated due to a bug. If you are on the ar71xx platform, this hotfix will fix the issue. As I recall, there was an issue with FiOS users that was supposedly cleared up somewhere along the line. I'm on FiOS but I never experienced it.

Is this a secondary router internal to your LAN?

Do not restore from Device A to entirely different Device B. There are lots of settings that are device specific. You only solution is to get into failsafe & erase ALL the changes. If you were a shell wiz, you could extract the backup on your computer, stop services, copy files into place & ...

A. Gargoyle only runs up to OpenWrt's Attitude Adjustment branch (not trunk).
B. those changes are for trunk
C. it's listed in the 'Work in Progress' section
D. There is already a TP-Link WDR4310 image here
