Re: Fonera 2.0: FonFlash Question's
http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=54841 Check that topic in the DD-WRT forum Looks like the new Fonera 2.0's are RaLink chipset based. Gargoyle/Open-WRT is Atheros chipset and Broadcom chipset based code DD-WRT is PRIMARILY Atheros & Broadcom, but it has some limited support for RaLin...

Re: QoS Philosophy
I think one of the BIGGEST problems with QoS is the general thinking that it will solve bandwidth issues. From all the posts I've seen here and on the DD-WRT forums, MUCH of it is centered around people doing torrents and having bandwidth issues. Torrents can be controlled via Bittorrent, or any oth...

Re: One quota used up, others lose internet
I don't use Quota's but I'll run some tests on this when I get home. I also have 1.0.4 loaded on my Fonera I'll setup a couple IP's with just maybe 10 MB quota on each, or whatever the lowest quota # you can set. I run a static IP on my NIC so I can just alternate to different IP's to test if this i...

Re: Help with testing the AP+Client Bug
Nice! So it does look like 15465 is the problem build. Or at least the build that causes the most problems and breaks the AP+Client mode. I'm currently running 1.0.4 and it's running fine for me, but I don't normally use the AP+Client mode myself. If a new test build pops up, I'll be ready to flash ...

Large wireless file transfer reboots router?
OK... I was doing some throughput testing via wireless for my Fon 2201+ It's running 1.0.3 right now, but if more AP+Client testing versions show up, I'll be flashing those on it. I wanted to do a crazy test and did a 2GB file test. This was via Wireless-G 128bit WEP encryption. Vista PC -> Vista PC...

Re: How about troughput ???
Well, I ran some wireless test There's a program that will do lan speed testing, but it will test any type of connection, wired or wireless. I tested with 100MB file from PC -> Router -> Wireless-G PC This is using my Fonera 2201+ One PC is connected to the LAN port of the Fonera, and the other PC i...

Re: Help with testing the AP+Client Bug
The Fonera 2200, 2201, and 2201+ are all similar as far as functionality goes, and they are also similar to the DIR-300 and the Airlink AR-430W. I suspect the Meraki's are different, especially being that they need a different flash build than the Fons/Airlinks/Dir-300's Might be fighting multiple i...

What kind of throughput?
The Wireless throughput? Wired throughput?
What speed tests are you looking for?

Re: Remote web access bug?
It may be your upload connection. I enabled remote access and used Internet Explorer 8 and also used Firefox 3.5.1 and both of them loaded all pages fine. I have a 768kb/s upstream though, so its fairly fast browsing the configuration pages. Connected hosts and connection lists both load fine, no er...

Re: DynDns List missing
I think its something to do with the web browser. I fresh flashed 1.0.3 on, and was trying to use Google Chrome latest version, to configure it, couldn't do it, pull-downs were not working at all. I opened up Firefox 3.5 - able to config everything and all the pull-downs working perfectly, no issues...
