Re: Allow Channels 12,13,14 based on country (*MOD*)
I haven't dug into the config files yet to find the right one, but I believe it's in the 80211 folder. Do some kind of grep search fir the line "CONFIG_ATH_USER_REGD is not set". Uncomment that line and change it to, "CONFIG_ATH_USER_REGD=y". Do your build as normal. Once the ro...

Re: Allow Channels 12,13,14 based on country (*MOD*)
I have not examined this particular patch, but they are generally very easy to include in builds. You just drop them in a folder and the build process takes care of the rest. If you want to try building your own firmware I'd be happy to point you in the right direction to at least get you started, ...

Re: Allow Channels 12,13,14 based on country (*MOD*)
You could do that yourself lol... I'm glad you enjoyed and lol'd at my post. I never compiled gargoyle, and that seemed to me a good different default. And it would be up to the user to use those channels or not. Maybe i do not fully understand the intent of that hack, but Channels 12 and 13 are le...

Re: Allow Channels 12,13,14 based on country (*MOD*)
Why don't we just prepare an already modified image? SO we don't have the need to manually run the hack, nor we run the risk of not having enough space available? Let's say that our version defaults to a very liberal country. And the user is free to set a more restrictive rule.

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2015-April-30 18:21.torrent
So far so good. Just installed on a tp-link 841nd, including 3 plugins (WiFi schedule, webshell and logread) with no issues at all. Keeping setting when upgrading gargoyle causes plugins to be deleted, but wifi scheduling hours were kept, so just reinstalling the plugins was enough, all wifi up and ...

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2015-April-20 05:38.torrent
looking though the logs i found one small error: Tue Apr 21 09:25:37 2015 kern.err kernel: [57838.290000] overlayfs: ERROR - failed to whiteout 'S85webmon_gargoyle' and ik'm still not 100% sure plugins work fine. I had to reflash and re-install because first time one plugin didn't register, and conn...

ZH zero-handoff mesh networking
I need to cover a large office with 2 or 3 (wired) access points so to allow easy roaming between them. Is that possible with gargoyle? i think that just having same ssid and auth is not sufficient, my guess is that ZH support or something like that is needed. Anybody did that already with gargoyle?...

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2015-March-27 05:44.torrent
Issue confirmed with plugins. I always use these 3 plugins: Wifi schedule, webshell and logread. I'm on a wr841nd, so i have really very little space available. in the past i had the same issue, being able to install just one plugin, or not being able to install/remove plugins at all. It had been fi...
