Re: disablew bw monitor

SirSWE wrote:But shall i run the first command you mentioned in putty or a reboot is enough?
This command will make the service not start when the router starts and the && will reboot the router.

Re: disablew bw monitor

In practice, you should just run the second command directly from cmd and restart the router: /etc/init.d/bwmon_gargoyle disable && reboot -f ... and the commands you have before exit0? It should be as follows: # Put your custom commands here that should be executed once # the system init fi...

OK thank you.
I didn't know that (I've never used "Guest WLAN").

I also propose to add documentation in the section: https://www.gargoyle-router.com/wiki/doku.php?id=basic

Re: Guest WLAN no DHCP but WLAN works?

I don't think so. It should always have been this way. What's the purpose of the guest network? Do you actually want/need isolation? :?: I ask - Guest WLAN is absolutely isolated? even against LAN ports (eg 1-4)? - in that case, Gargoyle cannot be used as a switch (suggestion b)), it must only be u...

Re: Guest WLAN no DHCP but WLAN works?

:?: Let me ask you what Gargoyle mode you set? a) Gateway or b) as LAN switch + WiFi AP or c) WiFi client + repeater. a) DHCP server must be activated on Gargoyle, statistics and restrictions work, LAN@WAN must be different subnets. Input uses WAN port and output LAN port (eg 1-4) + WiFi AP. b) DHCP...

Re: Problem with Gargoyle login page

1. Reset the theme to the default:
copy the file from /rom/etc/config/gargoyle to /etc/config/gargoyle and then restart the router.

2. Restore the entire www directory:
copy files from /rom/www/* to /www/* and then restart the router.

See if it helps.

Re: install advice/guide wrt1900acs please

1. First go back to the OEM firmware from Linksys (from DD-Wrt to OpenWrt can be problematic and sometimes brick). 2. Then follow the Linksys firmware update and use this factory.img image: https://www.gargoyle-router.com/downloads/images/mvebu/gargoyle_1.12.0-mvebu-cortexa9-linksys-wrt1900acs-squas...

Re: Version 1.12.0 : New stable version

Hello guys! I need for your advice. I have a TP-Link 1043ND v 2.1 flashed with Gargoyle 1.10. Everything works well, but last time i have a truble with WiFi speed (about 2-3 MBit instead 20-24). Can I upgrade to 1.12 without problems this router? Or is it too old for this version? :?: You will not ...

Re: Installing a USB wireless interface on Gargoyle router

does openwrt have the options for bandwidth limiting and setting quotas. those r the features i want to use. Gargoyle excels in these features like QoS, monitoring, etc., that's why I like it - unfortunately (I'm sorry too :( ), the compiled kernel repository is missing - it would be good to ask fo...
