Re: Question - Active Congestion Control
Hi pbix, I know the link has slowed down because a download is going much slower than expected or a video isn't playing properly or my browser is loading commonly used web pages slowly. Then I go through the testing thing which includes running speedtest, using at least 2 servers. A reboot always re...

Re: Question - Active Congestion Control
Hi pbix, Thanks for replying. You're right, I shouldn't be saying that the ACC is responsible. I did say that I thought it was in my setup and if I didn't mention it before, I admit that I have no idea why it does what it does. Your explanation helped, thanks for that. I really like the QOS in this ...

Re: Version 1.5.2 & 1.4.5
Here I am, days later, and there's been no need to reset the router. I performed the 30/30/30 a little after I posted that message. No reset since. Speed still very good. I am going to say 30/30/30 is a win/win/win. I finally discovered what I think is my problem. I've posted it over here: http://w...

Question - Active Congestion Control
I think I've found a problem and I hope it is the cause of what I've been experiencing. I've been having slowdowns on just about any firmware. I used to think that RC5 didn't have them, then I thought that I needed to do a 30/30/30 reset (that did seem to help a bit), but no matter what firmware I l...

Re: Version 1.5.2 & 1.4.5
Kamiller, which version are you on? I'll test on my RSPro and WZR-HP-G300NH. Thanks for being the guinea pig! I have 1.4.5 on my RSPro now and we'll see. BTW, on the RSPro, when you reconnect the power with the reset button held (the 3rd 30), the router goes into recovery mode and I can o...

I know I have a file with some button mappings that I was using before the router was officially su...

Re: Version 1.5.2 & 1.4.5
by the way on WZR-HP-G300NH should be 90/90/90 correct? :D Am I thick? I don't get it! Here I am, days later, and there's been no need to reset the router. I performed the 30/30/30 a little after I posted that message. No reset since. Speed still very good. I am going to say 30/30/30 is a win/win/w...

Re: Version 1.5.2 & 1.4.5
http://www.gargoyle-router.com/wiki/doku.php?id=changelog That's apparently why I keep going back to 1.3.14, it's RC5 and doesn't have the problem. Well, at least we're making headway. The thread mentioned says that it's a G+N problem. G Only is apparently unaffected, however, I run N so I'll stay ...

me too WZR-HP-G300NH 1.4.4 and 1.4.5 all same I tried the 30/30/30 reset and am testing it now. So far, results seem pretty good. If I can go 2 or 3 days without a problem, then it will be a good fix for me. Could you please let me know if you fix it thanks Yes, I am also waiting to hear about this...
