Re: Don't get the maximum speed, even half of this.
A further improvement is when you turn off Quotas and QoS - the problem is really in the CPU. https://openwrt.org/toh/hwdata/tp-link/tp-link_archer_c7_ac1750_v2.0 CPU: Qualcomm Atheros QCA9558 CPU Cores: 1 CPU MHz: 720 Equivalent = TL-WR1043ND v2 https://openwrt.org/toh/hwdata/tp-link/tp-link_tl-wr1...

Re: Don't get the maximum speed, even half of this.
Probably a CPU problem - you can try it as follows:
Temporarily turn off the bandwidth monitor and try if it improves, it will be a slow CPU.
Code: Select all
/etc/init.d/bwmon_gargoyle stop

Re: Show Hostnames when using another DHCP server
If Gargoyle has DHCP turned off or is in Bridge mode, the hostname is not visible. The only option is to add data to files, as @Lantis says through ssh - but it's an impractical and extreme solution.

Re: Archer C7 v2 and 5GHz Transmit Power
Who says it is a bug? Regulatory rules for Finland say max of 27dB. Find a piece of legislation that says otherwise, and present it to wireless regulatory maintainer (Seth Forshee) if you want it fixed. Then OpenWrt can be updated to latest. https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/sforshee/...

Re: Archer C7 v2 and 5GHz Transmit Power
So if you really have a machine that can do 30dbm, then for the FI region there will be a bug in wireless-regdb - so I'll refer you to OpenWrt, there will be a need to solve this problem - Gargoyle is a "GUI" for OpenWrt. Changes and news for wireless-regdb database here: https://git.kerne...

Re: Archer C7 v2 and 5GHz Transmit Power
The location selection is made only once, after the default configuration. However, the selection is based on known information (mtd partition, u-boot environment, WiFi card environment) - but it is not entirely objective. If you are from Finland, I recommend manually changing the location to FI: uc...

Re: Archer C7 v2 and 5GHz Transmit Power
The commands are correct, but in my opinion, this will not help you (I recommend restarting the router for the changes to take effect).
I still warn, do not violate the established standards and performance for your location! Gargoyle is a community that follows established standards and laws.

Re: [TL-WR1043ND V3] How do I go back to stock?
It depends on your hardware version (V1.x, V2.x, ...). You must have "stripped firmware": https://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-wr1043nd#back_to_original_firmware or https://www.friedzombie.com/tplink-stripped-firmware/ V1: https://www.friedzombie.com/tplink-stripped-firmware/download.ph...

Re: Archer C7 v2 and 5GHz Transmit Power
In my opinion, 27dbm maximum PCI-E performance will be 5GHz card. Already in OpenWrt Chaos Calmer rc3 this performance was recorded (https://dev.archive.openwrt.org/ticket/ ... #comment:3).
Archer C7 V3.0 also only max 27dbm: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32531836861.html
