Re: Help with testing the AP+Client Bug

OK. Did more testing with build 15464 - that one is working, has an uptime of 12+ hours. Did an fis init -f again and wiped and re-installed build 15465 That version crashed and failed in less than 5 minutes. There is something very wrong, and there is a driver issue somewhere. http://www.xirrus.com...

Re: Help with testing the AP+Client Bug

OK. I reloaded the 15464 from the post above. This time, I have 4+ hours uptime. Did NOT need to reboot in order to get it to work, flashed 15464, and then when interface came up, was able to scan and setup the network, no reboot needed in order to keep it up and running. Not sure why I had in issue...

Re: Help with testing the AP+Client Bug

I loaded up Build 15409 - last build listed on the 'shotgun' trials

Uptime 15+ hours - seems to be working fine on my Fonera 2201+

Any other set of builds that we can try?

Re: Help with testing the AP+Client Bug

Have you ever tried flashing via Fon Flash?

You should try one of those flashes, because it wipes out all settings
and fresh installs the firmware.

--------------------

Build 15408 - almost @ 36 hours uptime and still going.

Re: Help with testing the AP+Client Bug

Hmm... That seems it could be an even stranger issue. I'm doing my testing on a Fonera 2201+, the one with the extra LAN port, and all my setup/config is done through the LAN port, and then I disable LAN port and connect via wireless to do the testing. Alternative: When you're doing your testing and...

Re: Help with testing the AP+Client Bug

OK, I was having some flakiness on the 14400 build at 8+ hours, but 14000 was working fine. I loaded up build 15408 and its been up and running 18+ hours now. Running solid, doesn't seem to be any issues listed above like scanning for client to connect to, or needing to reboot in order to work. Will...

Re: Help with testing the AP+Client Bug

Reloaded madwifi 14000 and its been about 8 hours - still running. Will leave this build running overnight and give it a full 24 hour test. Anyone else besides myself and IspyIsail can load up 14200 or 14400 and run some testing? 14400 started to look flaky @ 8hr mark, but I'll have to try again to ...

Re: Help with testing the AP+Client Bug

I rebooted my meraki router and this time it worked I'm not sure what to do now? ---------- I'm trying the 14400 build next since 14000 worked. ------------ OK, 14400 has been up for 8 + hours now. SEEMS to be working, but I do notice pauses and the connection seems to hang after about 8 hours. It ...

Re: Help with testing the AP+Client Bug

Build 14000 loaded and running on Fonera 2201+ Running 2 hours so far - no issues. Anyone else test this to verify? I'll leave it another 2 hours, if its 4+ hours, I'll consider it OK, as any prior bad builds usually flaked out in 30 mins or less. I'll try build 14400 next and see if any issues with...

Re: Fon Flash "fis init -f"

I 2nd that request!

I've been manually telnet-ing into my router before hand and doing the

fis init -f

and then power cycle the fonera and do fon-flash

Made for a good 100% flash upgrade every time.
