There's also a suggestion that adding the "US" tag to the header of the firmwares will circumvent some of these lock downs from the FCC. It's currently only available in trunk and i haven't looked into back porting to Chaos Calmer/Gargoyle

It would be difficult to calculate such a figure. That page displays data, not speed. So the defined amount of "bandwidth" that is unused is technically the full speed of your connection multiplied by the time unit minus whatever has been used. But i don't really believe this is a good met...
