Got the torrent, seeding it from my Archer C5 as usual.
Installed on the Archer, working so far.
In an extroot configuration, is there a way to directly install the update to the internal (boot) partition without unplugging the USB drive first?
Regards
Ektus.

Re: wndr3800 upgrade from openwrt to gargoyle
Gargoyle is OpenWRT-based, and your router is already running OpenWRT. It is not running factory, so don't use the factory image but the sysupgrade one. Don't preserve settings, they are not compatible. Switching between OpenWRT and Gargoyle, it is not necessary to revert to stock. Regards Ektus.

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2017-October-13 22:01.torrent
I haven't had update-related trouble, especially not during minor version jumps. It's quite a hassle to re-enter evrything, expecially with this setup where I need channel 13, have extroot and transmission running. The problem has been there intermittently for quite some time now. Some days everythi...

@ektus also have you given your router a failsafe reset/reflash to default? Not yet. The strange thing is it's working for some hosts and fails for some others. Amazon's http://ec2-reachability.amazonaws.com/ shows many failures, and sometimes it doesn't. I've had the problem for quite some time no...

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2017-October-17 22:47.torrent - Krack FIX
Installed on my Archer C5 V1, working so far. Routing problems persist, see my last post in the thread on the october 13th build. It may or may not be a problem with my ISP.
Other than that, all basic functions are working, and I'm yet again seeding the ISPY builds.

Display data usage on "per-host" basis
Hi all, in Gargoyle, it's easy to see which client has used what amount of data on the "B/W Distribution" page. What's missing is the same kind of info on the "Web usage" page. I'd like to see which servers are delivering the large data amount I encounter during normal surfing (n...

Re: enable or disable guest wifi on schedule
There's the "WIFI Schedule" plugin that can toggle wifi on a daily or weekly schedule. Maybe that one could be expanded to not only toggle the entire wifi, but also parts of it (guest, 2.4GHz, 5GHz).

Bandwidth Distribution page won't show router's own usage
I've got an Archer C5 running Gargoyle (latest version, currently Ispy build from June 14th, 2017) and Transmission. Transmission works and has downloaded the last couple Ispy builds and is also seeding them. The Transmission status page shows totals of a couple hundred MB, but the Gargoyle Bandwidt...
