Re: gargoyle-ispy 2017-December-22 08:13

Which version did it last work with? I fixed some share issues in the last few months It works with 1.10.0. I just confirmed it by downgrading to that version, again preserving settings. It's a very basic share, no passwords or users apart from the default anonymous, with full access from the local...

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2017-December-22 08:13

Hi all, it looks like I've got a new problem with this build. I did update from 1.10.0 on an Archer C7 V2, preserving settings as always. This is the main router, connected to a VDSL 50 line. Surfing the net is working flawlessly, but I no longer have access to the USB storage that is attached to th...

Re: Netgear wnd3700v2

1.8 is quite old now, 1.9.2 would be newer. But 1.10 (read: one dot ten) is the latest and greatest. Well, apart from Ispy's 1.10.X from the "Show / Tell / Contribute" thread, that is. And no, you don't need both versions. It depends on the state your router is in. If it is still running s...

Re: SWAP formatting is not working

now i have another question. i will use my external HDD for download. but i don't understand one thing. why the hell 18GB swap needed? it's a 2TB drive and i guess 18GB is absolutely useless but Gargolye force it when format. why? It doesn't force it, it only suggests a certain percentage of availa...

Re: Version 1.10.0 : New stable version with critical security fixes

Installed on a TP-Link Archer C7V2, running good so far. Got a new VDSL connection today, approx 46MBit/s downlink which the router handles just fine. No QOS or gaming, though.

The router is now running the latest 1.10.0 release. I've reverted the Falcon to using the router as gateway, and it's working. So, reason unknown but problem is gone.

Re: Bandwidth Distribution page won't show router's own usage

That's the question. Is transmission running on the LAN or on the WAN side of the router? Either way, the data passes through the WAN interface (Wifi, in my case) and should be logged.
