I'm using a NetComm WNDR3700v4 also but with NBN 50/20.

I'm always at peak throughput as far as I can tell, CPU demands are usually low, 0.25 / 0.05 / 0.02 (1/5/15 minutes) with 5 rules and 4 classes on download and 3 rules and 2 classes for upload.

This thread is an eye opener but it would help a lot if the first post had 2 screenshot one for upload and one for download with the recommended settings so that we are sure what we did is the correct one. It's seems to be a Session State Tracking issue.
Don't have the Gargoyle Interface open in multiple windows or tabs. Use Gargoyle only as 1 page open and it won't happen.
