Re: Wireless fails after Restore Configuration
I don't have any similar experience or any input on that matter as all of the backups i have ever made using gargoyle worked fine for me, but i would advise if you can endure another 2 hour manual config pain period, to look into imacros for firefox, it can totally record all of your setup and you c...

Re: Why is BW data so important to some people?
BW data is important to me because i use comcast cable for ISP and i have a 300 gigabyte cap (as do all comcast users) per month, me and my son play online games thru xbox360 and PS3, which can eat up some bandwidth (not to mention 4 to 5 other PC's in the house surfing and downloading etc), so its ...

Re: How do I setup a WNDR3700 v2 as a wireless access point
I am not totally sure, but i would think you would need to turn off the wan and bridge the port to lan, then make the lan ip something like 192.168.1.2 if your are using that type of subnet (if the main AP subnet is 192.168.1.1) . Then turn off DHCP on the WAP, so that the main AP hands out DHCP. An...

Re: WNDR4500
Very doubtful that anyone has flashed this unit with gargoyle, its not supported by openwrt, much less gargoyle, and because it is a broadcom based unit, i wouldn't hold your breath on getting support for it, if you'll notice, most openwrt/gargoyle supported routers are Atheros based routers, i thin...

Re: WNDR3700 (cannot reflash)
Make sure you don't have any blocking going on locally, if you have any anti spyware/malware/virus apps or local firewall, turn them all off. Also i would imagine if you are trying to do this TFTP, you would need to use this file: gargoyle_1.5.4-ar71xx-wndr3700v2-squashfs-factory.img because it will...

Re: Large Number of Recent TCP Connections via Page Refresh
This is normal, no bug, caused by the user viewing the webgui, the refresh rate on the webgui + clicking between tabs makes active TCP connections, even if you are not doing any internet/LAN activity. After some given minutes, the connections should drop down, but will never go away due to the refre...
