Re: WNDR3700 5ghz repeater?

Hi DoesItMatter, thanks for your reference, but the link you referenced me to is from 2010 since backfire was in beta at that time and it is now a stable release, they haven't fixed this yet?

Re: WNDR3700 5ghz repeater?

Hi, I'm trying to create a wireless access point with my second WNDR3700v2, since I already have a WNDR3700v1 has my router, how come the dual band option (5ghz frequency) is not available for wireless access point?

Thanks,

Marc

Trying to upgrade firmware on WRT54GL not working

Hi, I tried to update my Linksys WRT54GL to version 1.47 from 1.45 and it's not working. The uploading screen stays on for quite a while, I left it for 10 minutes. Came back and the screen was still on uploading firmware. When I did a refresh page in Firefox, it came back displaying the status scree...

Re: WNDR3700v2 slow on 5GHz when downloading on 2.4GHz

Hi, your 5ghz connection is probably slow because you probably saturate your internet connection completely when your downloading on the 2.4ghz. What is your maximum internet connection speed for download/upload and what was your download speed at the time? Just throwing out ideas to try to help you...

Re: Setup QOS using MAC address

But wouldn't it be easier to just use the MAC address, kinda cutting the middle man approach?

Also, no need to assign an IP address to every hardware that you wish to use in QOS. Just let the network hardware deal with assigning ip addresses.

Thanks.

Keep up the good work.

I just looked at the list on Openwrt and it's not even in the names of router manufacturers. Crap.

I wonder what kind of cpu is in this routers?

Thanks.

Setup QOS using MAC address

Hi, would it be possible to filter QOS settings by using MAC addresses instead of ports and IP addresses? This feature is already in the Netgear stock firmware.

Thanks.
