Re: [BUG] QOS Setting does not retain changes
I have now seen similar behaviour. I added a new QOS rule, moved it to the top of the list, and saved settings. The "Please wait while settings are applied" swirl only lasted a couple of seconds, and then ALL of the QOS rules were wiped. After restoring my config a couple of times, and ret...

Re: Gargoyle-ispy 2015-January-10.7z
the firmware runs great except Tor I also have been unable to load the TOR plugin Gargoyle Version:1.7.X (Built 20150109-0720 git@da35789) Model:TP-Link TL-WR1043N/ND v2 I do not know how the plugin system works, but the Plugin Sources list includes http://www.gargoyle-router.com/packages/ gargoyle...

Re: Gargoyle-ispy 2015-January-10.7z
I know that: The file size goes from approx 280meg to over 1 Gig uncompressed from my end 1 file is better and the Torrent at http://goo.gl/ewCYjD contains the single Gargoyle-ispy 2015-January-10.7z file. If the Torrent for the next test build contained the unzipped files, then each tester could sy...

Re: [BUG] QOS Setting does not retain changes
I was unable to reproduce this behaviour on: Gargoyle Version:1.7.X (Built 20150109-0720 git@da35789) Model:TP-Link TL-WR1043N/ND v2 My config includes two additional QOS rules for Skype but making the changes described did not wipe the QOS rules. I tried: Uncheck "Manually control target ping ...

Re: Gargoyle-ispy 2015-January-10.7z
thank you sregi much appreciated.
I have loaded this version onto TP-Link TL-WR1043N/ND v2 and successfully configured a Huawei E160E modem plugged into the USB port. ie the 3G (GSM) option is available and functional in this version.
I will build up the remainder of my config and test.

Re: Gargoyle-ispy 2015-January-10.7z
Thank you ispyisail. I am keen to test the 3G fix in this version, but a 280mb download per test is not practical for me. Bandwidth is expensive and limited here which is why Gargoyle is so valuable in the first place! If I could get hold of the single file for TP-Link TL-WR1043N/ND v2 then I am kee...

Re: 3G (GSM) Option missing on 1.7.0
BEWARE: Version 1.7.0, based on OpenWRT Barrier Breaker is now officially released. Do NOT try to preserve settings between previous releases and 1.7.0 -- The new configuration files for Barrier Breaker are different than previous versions of OpenWRT and you will likely brick your router! Not a good...

Re: 3G (GSM) Option missing on 1.7.0
Yes, I have been running with Gargoyle 1.6.2 on TP-Link TL-WR1043N/ND v2 with the Huawei E160E modem since 1.6.2 became available (and now). On one of my Gargoyle 1.7.0 installs, I loaded a config backup from 1.6.2 and the 3G connection worked (but there were other problems). So, I suspect that it i...

3G (GSM) Option missing on 1.7.0
I loaded Gargoyle 1.7.0 onto a TP-Link TL-WR1043N/ND v2 successfully. However, when configured as a Gateway, the Internet/WAN interface does not offer a 3G (GSM) option despite a Huawei E160E modem being plugged into the USB port. The modem has power and the status light indicates that a 3G signal i...
