Re: Gargoyle-ispy 2013-December-16.7z

No problems for me with this build on my TP-Link 3600 that I've noticed.

Thanks Ispy.

Re: Gargoyle-ispy 2013-November-27.7z

I wonder why Atheros themselves don't come in and fix the outstanding wifi issues in the open-source driver.

Re: Version 1.5.11 - Translations

Eric: Can you change the build process to build fat images for routers such as the D-Link DIR 825-B1/2? Fat images relocate the wifi calibration partition to the end of the flash rom, thus allowing for more flash memory to be be free. these are 8MB flash devices, but only received 4MB images in offi...

Re: Gargoyle-ispy 2013-September-04.7z

Curious. I have loaded this version in hopes of fixing dual channel mode with no luck. For some reason, I cannot get the router to operate in dual channel mode. I've selected Channel 1, 40 MHz, second channel above but I cannot get any wireless connection to work in Wireless N. InSSider reports tha...

Re: Gargoyle-ispy 2013-August-31.7z

Looks like the newest builds have fat image support for DIR-825B1/2 routers. These routers have an 8MB flash but due to the wireless calibration data being stored in the middle of it, only 4MB can typically be used. The fat image sysupgrade has a script to move to wireless calibration data to the en...

Re: Can I just say how much I love your QoS?

I'll also chime in with a huge thanks to the Gargolyle team and Pbix specifically for his excellent QoS implementation. Gaming, VoiP, downloading, and video streaming all work perfectly together thanks to the awesome QoS.

Re: Add support for fat images

Any chance any of you devs can modify the build process to build FAT images for this and other routers so that we can use full 8MB images?

Thanks.

Add support for fat images

The D-link DIR-825 has 8MB of flash ROM but it uses an odd flash layout which results only some of that space being useable. The wireless calibration data partition sits in the middle on the flash memory layout. Currently, the Gargoyle images for the DIR-825 are 4MB even though it's an 8MB device. A...

Re: Gargoyle-ispy 2013-February-20.7z

The D-Link DIR-825 B1 builds are also missing. It's an 8MB device, so there shouldn't be an size issues.
