Re: Upgrade single package

Re: Inbound FIrewall configuration help

uci is the basic configuration engina for openwrt and Gargoyle it built on top of openwrt. So uci is completely functional at the comand line under Gargoyle. However, be aware that if you make special uci changes then they may be overwritten when next you make changes in the Gargoyle GUI

Re: Building a single Gargoyle package

Played with it some more, got farther not complete. If you are messing around with my code (above) then sorry - I forgot to mention that @Lantis had corrected the svn / git stuff in the std build script after my work on it. I should have time to work a bit more on it in a couple of days. I would be...

Re: Router Firmware Requests

Desc. Protocol From Port To IP To Port Enabled site1 both 8888 192.168.1.129 80 [checked] site2 both 7777 192.168.1.129 80 [checked] So the Gargoyle WAN port 8888 will be forwarded to an internal web-server port 80. To get to your website from the Internet a user wil have to specify port 8888 (or 7...

Re: Router Firmware Requests

you can certainly ssh into the router and from the command line run iptables -t nat -L but I am a bit more interested in what you are seeing via Gargoyle GUI Gargoyle - Firewall - Port Forwarding - Individual Port Forwarding Each row in the port-forwarding-table has an "enabled" tickbox. A...

Re: can't access 192.168.1.1

I think you might need to work thru the failsafe recovery
here
https://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/generic.failsafe
or here

Re: Gargoyle NAT 'leaking' port 443?

Thank you for reporting - doesn't seem right at all.

What parts of Gargoyle are you using? Have you configured any port forwarding? do you use any plugins? what other config do you use?

Re: Router Firmware Requests

The Gargoyle login screen shows: "Your Quota" before logging in (for lan) but not ALL of the (if more than one) Quota Rule is set. I would like to see All of the "Quota Limit/Rules on that page, not just the Lan one), no biggie. really. just a suggestion. :) This is what us supposed t...

Re: can't access 192.168.1.1

You will need to have a cable connecting a LAN port on your router with the ethernet port on your PC

Disconnect your PC from other networks (ie wireless)

You may need to manually configure the ethernet port on your PC to be 192.168.1.2

Re: Auralic/UDP Multcast

I have not seen any discussion relating to your task on this forum over the last 12 months. The link you provided seems worth working thru. I do not see any obvious direct conflicts with Gargoyle but you will need to do all of it via the command line interface. I think it would be worth searching an...
