Just to update on the issue, its been over 2 days with the new 1.4.0 firmware and the problem hasn't shown, so I guess its now fixed.

Thanks for your reply, I just found the new 1.4.0 release today when checking this tread, so I will test it right now and I will report back, if the problem persists I will take your suggestion and try OpenWRT. By the way, is OpenWRT a big difference from DD-WRT for the test? Regards, Edurardo Pecco...
