Re: logread shows many entries uhttpd[3040]: sh: write error: Broken pipe
thanks. when I run that as-is, it throws everything into dev null and I dont see it. Instead of dev null, I sent it to a file in ~ dir. This was the contents. Not sure what this means as I have wifi turned off and using Orbi as my APs. would love to clean up those entries in the log even if harmless...

Re: bw_get will not return any data
I have found that you have to remove the .bw extension to get bw_get to work properly

logread shows many entries uhttpd[3040]: sh: write error: Broken pipe
I have installed Gargoyle 1.12 on a new device, wrt32x and see many strange entries in the logread output. Also the webui seems to lag at the time when many of these exist in the log. Re: Bandwidth Monitoring Not Working on new Gargoyle 1.12 WRT32X
Is there some sort of log file that would say the hosts file was formatted incorrectly?

Re: Bandwidth Monitoring Not Working on new Gargoyle 1.12 WRT32X
I have now found that when I paste my old hosts into the new file, the bwmon stops working. I see two lines for gargoyle. One has comment to not touch/remove. the other one seems to have to be the line before it. I had pasted my hosts in between and that seemed to be the issue. hopefully that solves...

Re: Bandwidth Monitoring Not Working on new Gargoyle 1.12 WRT32X
Yeah, found that. Reset and now it is working. Will port over the ethers and other stuff and make sure it is working each time after the copy/edit.
would have liked to know what is wrong but it is working anyway.

Re: Bandwidth Monitoring Not Working on new Gargoyle 1.12 WRT32X
As far as I can tell, resetting the configuration means applying the sysupgrade firmware, correct? there is no other way to reset to factory that I see in 1.12.
Nm found it in backup section.

Re: Bandwidth Monitoring Not Working on new Gargoyle 1.12 WRT32X
Yes, I use gargoyle as the gateway with the Comcast modem going straight to the internet/wan port on the 32X. That connection is good and fast 300Mb+ speed. I turned off wireless and connected 1 lan port to a switch and the switch to an Orbi 3 node network for wireless. I did copy ethers and quotas ...

Re: Bandwidth Monitoring Not Working on new Gargoyle 1.12 WRT32X
Tried both of those to no avail. Should I reflash an upgrade? I went from stock firmware to Gargoyle. Everything else is working fine other than this, which is the reason I run Gargoyle.
