Thats kind of what i mean by repeatedly. I've been working with another user experiencing a similar problem with indexes getting messed up and causing a problem.

You can transfer DHCP.
Get the files at:
/etc/ethers
and
/etc/hosts

and copy those over.

Don't repeatedly hit save. Just dump the whole lot in there and then hit save.
OR
Every time you hit save; leave the page and come back.

Does the AP go down or does the AP just not serve IP addresses?

The second behaviour is completely expected.
I'm not sure about the first. It sounds right though.
It's just how bridging networks work.

Hmmm. Driver patches. My favourite lol.
I'll give it a go.
If it successfully compiled I'd then need a Guinea pig who is comfortable recovering a router from a non working state.
