Thats kind of what i mean by repeatedly. I've been working with another user experiencing a similar problem with indexes getting messed up and causing a problem.

You can transfer DHCP.
Get the files at:
/etc/ethers
and
/etc/hosts

and copy those over.

Don't repeatedly hit save. Just dump the whole lot in there and then hit save.
OR
Every time you hit save; leave the page and come back.

The second behaviour is completely expected.
I'm not sure about the first. It sounds right though.

If you can find the trunk commit that fixed this issue ill look but I don't have time to dig through it at the moment.
