power supply blips? It often only takes a small spike or brown-out to upset a router or modem. If all three houses are in the same region then they may be on the same power-grid. Lightning strikes, electric fences or a big load starting up (big pump, big refrigeration plant, welder) can be the culp...

After a little over 4 days uptime, all WiFi connections were dropped and unable to reconnect. A reboot resolved the issue. This issue recurred; after a little under 4 days uptime; and with similar log entries. WiFi performance degraded in the prior hour or so. LAN connections remained operational. ...
