Do you have QoS or other features enabled? My Archer router throughput varies greatly based on the settings / rules.
As noted before, both devices need AC enabled to get higher throughtput.
Good luck

Very interesting. Likely way simpler to configure / setup then on x86.

Which is the most powerful router supported by Gargoyle?
My Archer C7 V2 seems underpowered with our new internet connection (185Mbps down), especially when using parental controls and QoS (fairly steady at 64Mbps after a few hours). So time to look for a new router. What's the most powerful router on the market that supports Gargoyle? Seems like the Link...

Network config: Internet | |--- Arris Gateway ---| | | Gargoyle Media Streamer | Dlink AP All Ethernet connections are Gigabit. If I have the basic device configuration set as Gateway, WAN disabled and WAN Port set to Bridge to LAN, I have everything on one network. I can consistently download to 18...

To say it politely, the Arris options are very limited.
Is there a way to implement all the edits on the Gargoyle router?

Re: Different Internet provider with build in wifi & Gargoyl
Did some reading, so I'll need to add a static routing in the router that comes from the cable company, and iptable edits to my Gargoyle router.

Re: Different Internet provider with build in wifi & Gargoyl
Right now I use the "DHCP (wired)" option under Configuration, Basic.
If I try to ping from my DSL modem to the Gargoyle router, or any other device, I get zero pings.
i guess that means I have to add something under Configuration, Routing.
