Re: weburl module

Thanks for your suggestion - I'll be sure to implement it. The new weburl module already has the ability to invert matching (use ! ), so this shouldn't be too hard.

Re: X-Wrt and Gargoyle

A couple more questions: Are you running Kamikaze 7.09 or a version you compiled yourself from the openwrt trunk? If you're running a newer version from the openwrt trunk could you tell me either what svn revision it is or when you compiled it? Also, what version of X-Wrt were you running? If you do...

Re: X-Wrt and Gargoyle

I'm not certain, but this may be a bug in Gargoyle and not a problem with interoperability with X-wrt. Unfortunately, I have had difficulty validating/testing the PPPOE code, as I do not have a DSL connection, and don't know anyone who does. If you could post the /etc/config/network config file (whi...

Beta 3 Release Schedule & New Iptables Module

First, I want to announce that I'm going to release Beta 3 of Gargoyle sometime in early November. I'm not going to specify a specific day, since last minute bugs may cause some brief, unexpected delays. However, if you don't see Beta 3 before Thanksgiving, feel free to consider me the worst sort of...

Re: IE7/Vista and SVG Graphs

I'll look into automating the SVG installation in IE, but honestly this isn't a particularly high priority right now. All other major browsers have had fully integrated SVG support for some time. However, if you have already written code that does this (your edit to the badwdith.sh file) I would be ...

Re: Wireless survey

I've had several people request this feature, so it's fairly high on my to-do list. The main reason I've been putting it off is that when the next release of OpenWrt Kamikaze comes out I'll probably need to update the wireless networking configuration to work with the updates from the new release. I...

Re: 2 Things

The upgrade utility is only broken in beta1 for broadcom routers, so be aware these instructions only apply to those devices. The easiest way to upgrade is to use scp to copy the .trx file (NOT the router specific file) and then connect to your router with ssh. If you're on windows use PuTTY -- it h...

Re: 2 Things

Yep, I caught that bug just as I was about to release beta2. That's the reason it was a day late. I didn't catch it before because it's specific to broadcom routers, and like an idiot I must have forgotten to test the upgrade utility of beta1 on something other than my Fonera. The bug is fixed in be...

Re: 2 Things

The problem with dynamic dns you were seeing in Safari should now be fixed in the SVN (r35).

Again, please let me know if you're willing to help me debug the PPPOE configuration section. Thanks!

Re: 2 Things

Sorry for taking a while to get back to you, I just spent the last weekend upgrading my antiquated computer hardware to a brand new system (3.13GHz Core 2 duo, 8GB of RAM, YAY!) so I haven't had my system up to access the forum. Anyway... As of Beta2 I fixed a major bug in the upgrade script, but I ...
