Re: USB drive encryption, Amazon Glacier support
To "DoesItMatter": Thank you. You are probably right, thus why I have not been able to find anyone doing/offering such feature. I would, however, be looking at doing an encrypted drive, not on a 'per file' basis. Not sure if it would 'really' make a difference. I did look at the option of ...

Re: USB drive encryption, Amazon Glacier support
So, I have the same wish. To make my USB attached Disk, encrypted (and that the Router mounts it automatically on startup/plugin), and share it as a NASS. But I take it no one has done it? ... as post gone unanswered for over a year now.. Of course, then I would like to mount it on a Linux/Win PC us...

Re: Restoring settings on same hardware crashes Gargoyle?
I have a working setup of Gargoyle on TP WDR1043, and want to restore to new hardware to replace it with. The new router I got is a TP-WDR3600. So I saved a backup of my 1043 and dumped it on my 3600. The router boots up fine as far as the status light is concerned (slow blinking, then solid system ...

Thanks BashfulBladder. Appreciate your free guidance. I might start looking at it all on sunny days, and full moon nights too.

Re: Version 1.5.10
Thanks BashfulBladder. Even though I am no where closer to get this script going, I now know why. :) Yes, I am not a skilled scripter. Or programmer for that matter. I only 'play' my way around as a hobby, but would definitely like to learn more. Would you be able to recommend some very basic 'begin...

Ping_Watchdog.sht on 1.5.10
My Gargoyle TP-Link 1043ND router is running very nicely, but for one issue: At least once a week the WAN connection dies, and I need to reboot it to get it going again (via Web interfase). This is no more than a small bother, but non the less annoying. Specially if I am not home and wife/kids are h...

Re: Non-Admin user Login to view their Bandwidth Quota usage
Hello ispyisail, I must be forth coming here. Your were correct, but had missed a little detail, which I just today picked up on... The message of remaining quota IS there, but only if you are accessing the router's webmin page from a 'quotad' IP address. I had not seen this until today, when I acce...

Re: Loophole of quota function
Hi Eric, Yes, that would work. And has worked unless someone witty and willingly comes along to 'steal' someone else's Quota by setting their IP to a known IP that is allowed and has still quota available. Mainly, what I have discovered is resolved by the DHCP tick of "Block MAC addresses assig...

Re: Non-Admin user Login to view their Bandwidth Quota usage
Hi
I do have quotas setup, this is why I changed to Gargoyle.
Still, no information is displayed on the login page.
Regards.
