I have successfully put a firmare (1.9?) onto my V3 version of the TL-WR1043ND I believe the firmware was a bit modified allowing it to work on the V3 (V1 and V2 officially supported). Ah, that does make sense. I guess I am SOURCING data from the news server. So the destination IP will be the LAN IP of my downloading box (192.168.x.x), destination IP is blank, Source IP is 563... And I could set the source IP as the IP of each news server, but that limits me to only those server, ...

I have an Archer D7 modem, and the TL-WR1043ND V3.. All is working fine, except external access to my server on my lan. I have forwarded external port 80 to 8080 on my box.
