WDR4300 enters bootloop after heavy load
Hello I have 100 mbits connection but my router (WDR4300 v1, Gargoyle 1.9.2) cannot go higher than 30 mbits. The bottleneck is the CPU as I can see load average goes above 1.0 when I reach the max speed. When the load is sustained, the router crashes and starts a bootloop. I need to reset it to the ...

QoS rule for whatsapp calls
Hello I'm trying to create a rule to identify whatsapp calls to place them in a voip class. So far I identified whatsapp use UDP protocol and port 3478 when calls are placed from my wifi to an external person (my wife's phone on 3G) and whether that's voice or video. When she calls me (3G to wifi), ...

Re: Version 1.9.2
Hello I am a new (3 days) user to Gargoyle and very happy with it so far. I noticed a bug in the web interface: if I open two tabs, one with QoS (upload) and the other with QoS (download), edit the rules in one tab and save the configuration, I lose all the QoS config in this tab. Is this me or a bu...

Install Gargoyle on WDR4300 with DD-WRT
Hello
I'm about to buy a second hand WDR4300 and someone already installed DD-WRT on it.
Do I need to flash it back to the stock firmware or is it ok to flash directly Gargoyle's image on it ?
Thank you,
Alex

TP-Link Archer C50
Hello Amazon.co.uk returns Archer C50 when I search for WDR3600. I've just received it but I didn't find a Gargoyle image in the download section. According Openwrt wiki https://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/archer-c50 it is based on a different SOC and I think I need to send it back. This is very co...
