Re: A big thank you.

This is a good a thread to add my thanks to as well. I first got Gargoyle to monitor my oldest kid's web usage. Then used Gargoyle to limit his phone's wi-fi access to the web based on time and day (cellular data is permanently off at the provider). Then my other kids started getting internet enable...

Web Monitor Not Taking IP Ranges

This problem has existing for the last several revisions. I've commented on it since version 1.4.1, as has at least one other user. If one monitors webpages, you have to list each ip address individually. If you try to monitor (or exclude) a range of IPs, it does not work. I'm currently using the la...

Re: Version 1.5.0 & 1.4.3

The new stable 1.4.3 is also available, which contains a few minor bugfixes and the latest wireless driver/fixes updates from the OpenWrt Backfire branch. New in 1.4.3: Fixes "Monitor Only" option in web usage monitor Nope. Upgraded to 1.4.3 last night. Still doesn't work for me. I set up...

Re: Version 1.4.2

I'm still not getting IP ranges to log Websites visited. Eric, can you look into that?

Turn the Website monitoring on, put in several IP ranges to monitor.

Nothing gets logged.

If I have it log all IP addresses, it logs just fine.

I'm running a WRT54G v3 with the same amount of flash and RAM as you. 1.4.0 installed no problem, running fine.

Re: Version 1.4.1

I've noticed since 1.4.0 that the web monitoring list is empty, despite it being turned on for monitoring. Is anyone else seeing this, too? I have it set to monitor a range of IP addresses (192.168.1.130-192.168.1.169). Although I have IP addresses assigned in that range, and I know they are accessi...

Re: Version 1.4.0 -- New Stable Branch

Loaded 1.4.0 onto a WRT54G v3.1 router.

Used Web update.

Updated flawlessly. Running well. Timed access restrictions appear to be applied correctly across IP ranges.

Well done.

Re: Version 1.3.16 -- Second Release Candidate

I tried to upgrade my WRT54G v3 to 1.3.16 from 1.3.8 tonight. I ran across a, for me, showstopping bug. No I did not try to restore my settings from 1.3.8 to the new 1.3.16 load. I recreated all settings from scratch. I also do not use the wireless capabilities of the WRT54G, I have the wireless acc...

Re: Bug Report: B/W Distribution Window

Chrome must have changed something. I'm still running 1.3.8 (waiting for 1.3.14 to be released before upgrading). Up until a few days ago, bandwidth charts were showing just fine in Chrome. Now that I'm at Chrome 11.0.696.60, it no longer works. This change happened recently. However, if I run IE 8....

That's astonishing. Are there any other TP Link routers you've tested that Gargoyle works on?
